The sun was shining today. So that is a very good thing. It was waaaaayyyy cold here though. Michigan can have such fierce winds. I managed to get a few earrings made. Worked on a pastel. Didn't finish though. Worked on another pastel. A landscape. Of a cold winter day in the Upper Peninsula. I can't seem to get it "right". So I am not going to show you. I am quite happy with my little oranges however so here they are.

  2. I love oranges...had to eat two every single day I was pregnant with my first child who will be 12 this year! (And who hates oranges coincidentally!)
I love those earrings. They look like Lake Michigan when the waves crash and freeze in place. Stay warm! Enjoy the day! Erin

  3. Your oranges look good enough to eat!!! :0) Can't wait to see your landscape...I'm sure it is wonderful...sometimes we are too hard on ourselves!

Pretty pearls...simple but can't go wrong with them!

Your lampwork disks are beautiful...they do look like waves crashing...

  4. Your oranges look beautiful. I agree with the previous poster that I bet your landscape is good too. I often really hate my drawings but after a couple of months break from looking at them can see new value that I couldnt see before... just a thought!

  5. I love your oranges. Did you use oil pastel or just soft pastel. The green in the bottom pair of earrings sits lovely with the oranges.

  6. Thank you guys!! Queenie, I only used soft pastel on this one. The "wave beads" are from Sky Valley on Etsy.
